Launching Chesapeake Bay Pet Care in 2025, Carey is the sole proprietor of this boutique pet care business, and take tremendous pride in her relationships with her clients....and their humans.

A Day in Carey’s Life

Carey’s typical day is a blend of activity, care, and connection. She starts early, checking in with pets who need morning walks or medication. Throughout the day, she visits homes, providing companionship, exercise, and grooming.

One memorable example is Max, a shy rescue dog who struggled with anxiety. Carey’s patient approach helped Max feel safe and gradually enjoy his walks and playtime. His owner credits Carey with transforming Max’s behavior and happiness.

Carey also adapts to the needs of senior pets, offering gentle care and extra attention to keep them comfortable. This flexibility is part of what makes her services so valued by pet owners.

Building Trust Through Transparency

Carey knows that trust doesn’t come from words alone. It comes from consistent actions and clear communication. She encourages pet owners to ask questions and share concerns. This openness creates a partnership where everyone works together for the pet’s well-being.

For example, if a pet shows signs of stress or health issues, Carey immediately notifies the owner and suggests next steps, including veterinary visits if needed. This proactive approach reassures owners that their pets are in capable hands.

Why Trust Matters in Pet Care

Pets are family members, and entrusting their care to someone else can be stressful. Carey understands this deeply. Her approach focuses on building relationships that go beyond the basics of pet sitting or walking.

Trust means knowing that your pet will be treated with kindness, respect, and genuine affection. It means feeling confident that every detail, from diet to exercise, is handled thoughtfully. Carey’s dedication to these principles has earned her a loyal client base and heartfelt referrals.
